Frequently Asked Questions for Admitted Students

During the online matriculation, students will be asked to check and verify their particulars, upload a digital photo and activate their SMU email account. You will need to have internet access and the process should not take more than 30 minutes.

Once you have successfully performed the online matriculation, you will have access to your SMU email address.

SMU’s IT Helpdesk offers a range of hardware/software services to students. However, these are available only after you’ve completed your online matriculation. You may buy your laptop through SMU’s bulk purchase scheme. You can also bring your laptop to IT helpdesk for them to assist in configuration and installation:

IT Welcome Kit
