EngD SMU Admission Test - Information

EngD applicants who are graduates from one of the four local universities (SMU, SUTD, NTU, NUS) are eligible to take the SMU Admission Test in lieu of GMAT/GRE as entry criteria to the EngD programme. The SMU Admission Test score cut off is Overall score of 56. Test results obtained within 2 years will be accepted.

Each applicant is only allowed a maximum of 3 test attempts per intake.  A test fee is payable for every test attempt.  

All candidates (except for those from Mainland China) are to perform the test under RPNow remote proctoring. Please scroll down for RPNow details. For candidates residing in Mainland China and are eligible for the SMU Admission Test, please contact your respective programme manager for alternative remote proctoring options.

TEST RULE: Please perform the test without any aid. During the test, you are not supposed to refer to any book or reference materials, be it physical form or online.

How to Obtain a TEST LINK

Make online payment for $125 (inclusive of GST) test fee at https://eservices.smu.edu.sg/.

After payment has been processed, email your payment receipt to engd@smu.edu.sg.
A test account/link will be issued to you.

Applicants are to perform the SMU test under remote proctoring. This is to ensure fairness and integrity.

TEST RULE: Once SMU test has started, you must complete all 3 test components at one go.
