Rajesh Balan named ACM Distinguished Member

SMU Associate Professor of Information Systems Rajesh Balan, who is also the Director, Livelabs Urban Lifestyle Innovation Platform, has been honoured with the title of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Distinguished Member for his outstanding scientific contributions to computing. This year, Assoc Prof Balan is the only academic from a university in Southeast Asia to achieve this recognition, and is also the first SMU faculty to be selected for this honour.
