Mr Ben KING

Managing Director, Google Singapore, Malaysia, SEA Agency & Partners
Google

Ben King was appointed as Country Director for Google Singapore in mid-2019, and was subsequently promoted to Country Managing Director in 2021. He is responsible for Google’s sales and business development operations both within the country and as a hub for the region.

Prior to this appointment, Ben ran sales and business development operations for Google Thailand between 2015 and 2019. He has also worked with various Google businesses across a diverse range of countries in South and Southeast Asia including Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Before joining Google in 2012, Ben worked at Microsoft Advertising Australia. Joining the business shortly after its launch in the country, he held a number of roles as the business grew into a significant player within the performance marketing space.

Ben is part of the Sentosa Development Corporation Board, sits on the board of advisors for the School of Computing and Information Systems of the Singapore Management University, and sits on the SGTech Council in the capacity of co-opted councilor.

Ben has a BA in Media and Communications from the University of Sydney, Australia, majoring in Media, History and Ancient History.

Mr Desmond WONG

Managing Director, Accenture Pte Ltd

Desmond Wong is currently a Managing Director with Accenture. He joined the Company in 2008 after graduating from the Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems.

He has over 11 years of professional technology consulting and business development experience, having led and delivered various digital transformation and modernisation business solutions for clients in the health and public service sector in ASEAN.  Desmond also advocates and spearheads the innovation initiatives in Accenture.

Ms Dorcas TAN

Cluster Director, Human Capital Cluster
Infocomm & Media Development Authority (IMDA)

Dorcas is currently the Cluster Director, Human Capital Cluster in IMDA, overseeing industry manpower policy related to tech and media manpower in Singapore.

Dorcas has worked in various government agencies and public policy roles. Prior to her current appointments, she was the Director (Market Development and Surveillance Department) in Energy Market Authority (EMA) who led in the full liberalisation of the retail electricity market in Singapore. She was also previously Director (Strategic Planning and International) in GovTech and served in the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI), Charities Unit, and the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS).

Dorcas graduated with Master of Science in Public Management and Governance with Distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics (Hons) with the National University of Singapore. 

Dorcas was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2015. 

She currently sits on the IT School Advisory Committee of Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic.

Mr Kelvin CHNG

Co-founder, Carro

Kelvin is a co-founder of Carro, Southeast Asia's largest online used car retailer. Prior to co-founding Carro, he was a key stakeholder in both SAS, the worldwide leader in Business Analytics solutions as well as Experian, one of the largest Credit Bureau in the world.

At both SAS and Experian, he took on roles in both consulting and business development to help further the businesses of clients through the use of decisioning and analytical software. He is experienced with public sector and commercial business verticals and has collaborated with people from diverse backgrounds.

Kelvin is educated in electronics and computer engineering, information systems and information technology. He graduated Valedictorian and Summa-cum-Laude from Singapore Management University and was awarded Singapore’s National Infocomm Scholarship for a Master of Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University.

Mr Mohan JAYARAMAN

Senior Partner
Bain & Company

Mohan Jayaraman is currently a Senior Partner with Bain. His primary focus is to partner with customers to deliver large data sciences and advanced analytics projects across the FS and consumer sectors in the APAC region.

Mohan has over 27 years of experience in data sciences, artificial intelligence, and digital capabilities across APAC markets. His expertise is in building, operating, scaling, and achieving revenue outcomes from Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning and decision sciences capabilities. He also has significant experience in building and executing data strategy across APAC. Mohan has coached gender diverse, culturally mixed, and multigenerational teams of over 500 people to deliver high performance outcomes. He has experience in managing Board roles across the region working closely with investors and promoters.

Prior to Bain, Mohan was with Experian for 11 years with his last role as the APAC leader for Analytics and Innovation and Managing Director for the ASEAN (including Japan and Korea). He built and scaled multiple analytics COEs (Centres of Excellence) in APAC, established the firm’s APAC Innovation hub with a portfolio of AI products and grew the region’s P&L substantially. Before Experian, Mohan was a senior banking professional with ICICI Bank, with his last role as its Head of Enterprise analytics and Payment strategy.

He participates actively in social innovation work including funding and building products with social goals. During his time at Experian, Mohan was an active and passionate member of the Social Innovation Committee of Experian globally, focused on funding and building products with social objectives.

Outside of work, he is an avid reader of science fiction, and enjoys teaching children AI and robotics through game builds.

Mr Philip ONG

Mr Philip Ong is currently Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Health. He graduated from the University of Oxford with a Bachelor of Arts in Modern History and received a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University in 2006. Over the course of his career, Mr Ong has served across the Public Service Division in the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Manpower, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, the National Research Foundation, and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth.

Ms Verena SIOW

Regional President, Asia Pacific

With an impressive career spanning almost three decades of technology sector experience, Verena Siow was named Regional President of SAP Asia Pacific in July 2026. Based in Singapore, Verena is responsible for business operations across the region, driving customer success, accelerating business transformation, and helping organizations across Asia Pacific realize the full value of their SAP solutions and become intelligent autonomous enterprises.

She has served in multiple capacities during her fifteen-year tenure at SAP, most recently as the Business Suite Leader APAC, driving cloud growth and the end-to-end customer value journey. Prior to that, she was SAP’s Southeast Asia President and Managing Director.

Her career incorporates extensive experience in sales, business development, and startup ventures in the technology sector, working across Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. Her journey has included pivotal roles in nurturing and growing businesses from the ground up, particularly within the startup ecosystem.

Verena's commitment extends beyond her professional achievements. She is a passionate advocate for fostering diversity and inclusion within the technology sector. Her belief in the power of different perspectives to enhance business outcomes is evident in her leadership approach and the initiatives she champions.
