Forget bitcoin, this Singapore firm is using blockchain tech to build a smart city

SMU Associate Professor of Information Systems (Practice) Paul Griffin opined that blockchain-enabled smart cities hold great promise, especially in Southeast Asia. This is because the region’s “huge diversity of environments” can yield significant applications “in many areas beyond what has already been deployed” in developed countries like Estonia and Sweden, he explained.
