Aside from SMU Chancellor Mr Lim Chee Onn, who was conferred the Order of Nila Utama (with High Distinction) and former SMU Chancellor Mr J Y Pillay who received the Order of Temasek (with Distinction, here are 15 members of the SMU faculty and staff who have also been recognised for their outstanding performance and commitment towards Singapore’s tertiary education sector:
