Ping An’s OneConnect forms inaugural advisory panel

OneConnect Financial Technology Co. has formed its inaugural advisory panel to help bring OneConnect to its next phase of growth in the region, and provide independent oversight and ensure proper corporate governance. SMU Vice Provost (Research) and Professor of Information Systems (Practice) Steven Miller has been recruited to join the panel. He was the founding Dean of SMU’s School of Information Systems from 2003 to mid-2016, and he continues to serve as Professor of Information Systems (Practice). In recognition of his contributions, SMU established the Steven Miller Scholarship to help deserving students complete their education despite financial hardship.
