SMU Vice Provost (Research) and Professor of Information Systems (Practice) Steven Miller has been appointed as an advisor to the ASEAN Financial Innovation Network (AFIN) Board effective from 21 May. AFIN, established in 2018, is a non-profit network established in 2018 by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the World Bank Group’s International Finance Corporation and the ASEAN Bankers Association. It operates the API Exchange, a global cloud-based sandbox and marketplace for financial institutions and fintechs to collaborate and deploy innovative solutions rapidly.
