The world of accounting is changing fast, and faculty now must teach emerging technologies to prepare students for the future and to satisfy the demands of employers and accreditation boards. "Employers do not just require accounting graduates to be experts in accounting,” said SMU Assistant Professor of Accounting (Practice) Clarence Goh. "They increasingly also expect accounting graduates to be familiar with technology, and to be able to work with technology to complete accounting tasks," he added.
