SMU School of Computing and Information Systems alumnus Alvin Poh sold off Vodien Internet Solutions – a highly successful Internet company which he co-founded 17 years ago – for $30 million about three years ago. Alvin donated $250,000 to his alma mater SMU, to set up a scholarship in his name. Last year, when the Covid-19 pandemic was raging, he decided to set up Super Scaling to share his entrepreneurial experience and assist companies or individuals to quickly expand their business and achieve success.
