SMU SCIS alumnus Derrick Lee is the co-founder and chief technology officer of Accredify, a start-up that supports companies in managing and verifying documents digitally. More than 600 enterprises now actively issue documents with it. Accredify also co-created Singapore’s HealthCerts, which is the standard for digital pre-departure Covid-19 test and vaccination certificates. In 2011, he was part of the Institute of Technical Education team that won the InnovateIT competition organised by SMU.
