We need more women in AI, and Singapore could offer a model

In a commentary, NTU Research Fellow Tamara Nair examined the role of women in technology and artificial intelligence (AI) on International Women’s Day. She called for a close examination of what Singapore is doing right and what obstacles can be removed for greater women’s participation as women can go far in the industry. She cited three people in particular who have shown how much they can give back to society, including SMU Assistant Director of Data Analytics Vennila Vetrivillalan who has years of experience in data analytics and AI.
