The Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition, conceptualised by the SMU Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, aims to turbocharge the growth of high-potential startups around the world. It plans to do this by putting student founders and young entrepreneurs in front of venture capitalists, corporate executives, technologists, and government officers to enable conversations, connections, and collaboration. Competition finalists also learn from industry experts via mentoring sessions and panel discussions while networking with other top young founders through mixers.
