Eamon is an experienced transformation and ‘C’ level executive with over 30 years of experience gained from working in senior domestic and global roles with leading financial, telecommunications, and educational organisations. He is a delivery focused leader with a successful track record of shaping and delivering transformational capabilities and target operating models into a global business and customer base.

Eamon takes complex issues and simplifies them, and leverages technology to simplify an organisation’s operations and how customers engage with that organisation. Eamon also recognises the imperative of stakeholder engagement, keeping all appropriate stakeholders regularly updated, and understands the importance of winning both hearts and minds in any initiative. His excellent engagement skills come from knowing who, when, and how to engage to bring on the journey. His multi-cultural experience includes membership of pan bank leadership teams, engagement of CEO’s and stakeholder communities, and interacting with regulators. Therefore, he is comfortable engaging people at all levels.

In his last CIO role, he drove significant efficiencies by creating “One Bank” re-use of platform and operating capabilities, improved turnaround times by up to 82% using Lean re-engineering techniques, and reduced errors by 70% using a portfolio of controls. Eamon managed the entire infrastructure to enable the controlled growth of the business. This all contributed to creating a standard sales and service capability that gives a single and fully integrated view of the customer, delivering on the long held strategic intent in many organisations of client centricity.

Eamon has recently enriched his career with assignments in consulting and academia, delivering to global organisations and leading universities in Asia. These included shaping global cash and payment capabilities, and creating and delivering executive education modules.

Eamon has qualifications in both technical and adaptive areas. His B.Sc. degree is in Theoretical Physics from University of Lancaster, and his joint master’s degree at University of Oxford / HEC Paris in “Consulting and Coaching for Change”. The latter focused on truly understanding organisational and people behaviour and identifying, shaping, and leading required transformations.
