ABOUT THE TOUR

In this guided port tour to PSA, you will get to learn the vital role and how it contributes to Singapore as a global hub port, and also the importance of hardware and software in port operations, other than the need for trained/skilled resources. You will also gain insights on what it is like working in the maritime industry as well as career and Internship opportunities available.

ITINERARY

1.15pm	Assembly at SIS Building, Level 1 Lobby (Entrance)
2.00pm	Arrival at PSA Building to pick up PSA Representative
2.15pm	Guided tour of Control Centre - Students will get an overview of: Container Handling Process ICT Systems High Tech Equipment Deployed
2.40pm	Ace Group to board bus to Pasir Panjang Terminals 1-3
2.50pm	Guided tour at Pasir Panjang Terminals 1-3 - Students will get an overview of: Container Terminal Business Various Functions in Operations Scale of Operations
3.10pm	Departure to PSA Building
3.25pm	Proceed to HR Conference Room Screening of Corporate Video Introduction to ICT Division Career and Internship Opportunities Q&A Closing Refreshments will be served.
4.15pm	End of Visit
4.30pm	Ace group to assemble and return to SIS
