About the Talk

This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the Bitcoin (BTC) transaction network, filling the gap in the availability of a complete 15-year historical dataset (2009–2024) and introducing novel metrics to quantify asset decentralization from a network perspective. The findings highlight the significance of network properties and the proposed decentralization degrees in advancing Bitcoin research.

This is a Pre-Conference talk for 2024 IEEE International Conference on Big Data (IEEE BigData 2024).
