ABSTRACT
This talk introduces the evolution of the software architecture for the web applications. Based on industry case studies, the audience can catch a glimpse of the typical three tier web architecture to the recent developments in microservices and API economy. Besides this topic, I will also be briefly mentioning my research works at the beginning of the talk.
About the Speaker
Dr. Ouh Eng Lieh obtained his PhD in Computer Science (Software Engineering) from National University of Singapore. He worked in the IT industry and involved in multiple large-scale information technology projects before joining his existing company as an educator. In his current role, he delivers courses for the postgraduate students and industry participants. In recent years, he is also involved in the design of stackable programmes and other initiatives for lifelong learning. His teaching interest is in the software engineering areas including practical software architecture, solution design, security engineering and mobile development.
