About the Talk

This talk delves into the key R&D areas for NCS Group confronting today’s cyber threats. We’ll explore how AI can be harnessed for both security purposes and securing AI itself. Additionally, we will examine the unique challenges of securing cyber-physical systems, where physical infrastructure intersects with the digital world. Data security and privacy, in particular quantum-safe security and privacy-enhancing technologies, will be another key focus, addressing how industries can safeguard sensitive information. In this talk, we will provide perspectives on how we may bridge the gap between theoretical advancements and practical applications in industrial settings. We will highlight real-world use cases and problem statements currently faced by companies, showcasing where theory needs to catch up with industry needs. This will provide valuable insights for researchers to better tailor their efforts towards solutions with real-world impact.
