About the Talk In this talk I will provide insights into the many definitions of what the term software ecosystems means in software engineering, how the research has been trendy and some of the work that I have been doing over the recent years, especially in the light of the AI4SE Era. In my research, my colleagues and I investigate how open-source software ecosystems and their social aspects can remain resilient against security and economic threats posed by evolving technologies. Additionally, we aim to ensure that these ecosystems continue to receive sustainable support from developers.
