About the Talk
Moving from face-to-face class to a 100% virtual one is like growing your first moustache: it needs getting used to. SMU's small-class seminar style provides a perfect opportunity for effective active learning activities in the classroom such as small group discussions, pair programming, quizzes and games, peer critiques and group project presentations. Can these activities still be done in a virtual classroom? Mok will explore certain ideas that he has tried in the past semester and new ones that he has since discovered in this short talk.
