About the Talk
As the adoption and use of smart contracts accelerates in the coming years, businesses' dependence on them, in conjunction with some adverse factors, could lead to global financial instability. This talk discusses how smart contracts could lead to problems similar to ones created by financial derivatives during the 2008 Global Financial Crisis. Recommendations are provided for proactive steps that can be taken with respect to smart contract technology to help mitigate these risks.
