ABOUT THE ALUMNUS

Remy NG graduated from SMU with a degree in Bachelor of Science (Information Systems). During his internship experience, he was with a local start-up dealing with Logistic Operations where he kickstarted his journey doing software development as a professional and enjoyed it a lot.

Since graduation, he had joined 3 start-ups and his latest role at TikTok counts as his first big tech company experience. At TikTok, he work on an internal tool that enables developers to deploy their applications quickly. His responsibilities include realising business requirements as product features, improving reliability/performance of existing systems and supporting users of the product by helping to troubleshoot issues.
