ABOUT THE ALUMNUS

Wai Tuck is a PhD student at SMU, focusing on the intersection between security and machine learning, while also being the Principal Security Researcher at watchTowr.  

He graduated from SMU with a BSc Information Systems, specialising in cybersecurity and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Masters in Information Security in 2020 as part of the SMU-CMU Fast Track Programme. He actively participated in CTFs and worked on research in dynamic analysis of Javascript code. He also previously contributed to nmap, creating the first reliable scanning script for SambaCry. He is also OSCP, OSCE, OSWP, and OSWE certified.
