Two undergraduates from SMU (SIS student Edric Subur) and NUS separately have co-founded Singapore-based start-up, Leggo, which aims to make organising friend meet-ups in WhatsApp groups a breeze. The co-founders recently welcomed onboard a third member, a lead developer who is also studying at SMU. Leggo has just been incubated in the SMU incubation programme, after it won the University’s innovation award in November, where it will receive mentorship and S$10,000 (US$8,000) in cash. It was also placed fourth at the Southeast Asia Mobile App Competition (SEMAC) earlier this month, bagging a smaller S$1,000 (US$800) prize.
