Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at SMU Director and Professor of Information Systems (Practice) Arcot Desai Narasimhalu commented on the entrepreneurial ventures of iconic Indian business leader Ratan Tata. Since his retirement, Mr Tata has invested in more than 25 ventures, including mobile payment venture Paytm and Teabox, a premium tea retailer. Prof Narasimhalu said veterans like Tata bring knowledge and networking to startups, adding that it is a fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurs who are fortunate enough to have gotten his attention.
