IBM Fellow and Chief Scientist Jeff Jonas shares with SMU 2nd major analytics students on being a data scientist, innovator and building context aware solutions

Mr. Jonas shared with the students of SMU 2^nd major analytics his journey as a data scientist and an innovator.

Later he shared with the students how data driven solutions are changing world’s landscape around us.

He stressed on coming up with context aware solutions and following a ‘Data finds Data’ puzzle solving approach for designing complex context aware systems. Mr. Jonas shared how his inventions are based on programs that put together various pieces of information into usable form aimed at a hidden purpose: What can the data tell you that you didn't think to ask?
