Beat the queues with WhyQ

SMU School of Information Systems alumni Varun Saraf and Rishabh Singhvi, founders of WhyQ (a delivery service for meals from Singapore’s favourite hawker centres and food courts) were featured in an article where they shared the genesis of their company and the challenges they faced. According to the founders, there are 5,000 customers registered on the website and it receives about 400 orders daily. The start-up delivers to companies such as ICAP, Mckinsey, Fitness First, Allen & Gledhill, Standard Chartered, Citibank, HSBC, OCBC, and DBS, among others. It is also working to expand its services to other business districts such as City Hall, Changi Business Park and one-North and also to extend their delivery hours, as well as to reach out to residents in HDB flats and condominiums.
