SMU student Kenneth Tan competed in a memory tournament last year, and set national records in two categories. In January 2017, he broke another four records at another competition, with the fastest recall of two decks of cards, and the most binary digits memorised and correctly recalled. Mr Tan shared how he was inspired by news of a memory competition two years ago, and decided to pick up the skill from an expert. Since then, Mr Tan has also travelled overseas to compete in other competitions, and hoped to widely promote this skill. As a start, he has planned a talk to share his technique and skills with fellow SMU students.
