Singapore Management University and Pestech sign MoU to apply Artificial Intelligence to pest management

SMU’s LiveLabs Urban Lifestyle Innovation Platform has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Pestech Holding. The two-year collaboration will use artificial intelligence (AI) to study data from rodent sensors to better manage rodent problems in shopping malls. Pestech will contribute its collected data on which shopping malls have rodent activity and where rodents are most active in the malls, while LiveLabs’ AI programming will be used to analyse data and provide more accurate details such as identifying the different rodent species and the number of rodent clusters.
