SMU will helm a new research programme on the governance of artificial intelligence (AI) and data use which will help advance and inform scholarly research on AI governance issues as announced in June 2018. Minister for Communication and Information S Iswaran also disclosed the full composition of Singapore’s advisory council on the ethical use of AI and data – an initiative that was also announced in June.
