New framework for data protection officers and certifications for international data flows

The Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) has developed the Data Protection Officer (DPO) Competency Framework and Training Roadmap, to clarify the DPOs' roles and develop their capabilities, in a bid to ensure companies better protect and use data. The PDPC is also working with other training partners, like the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, National University of Singapore Law Academy, SMU Academy and Singapore Polytechnic.
