Giving Asian leaders the analytics boost

TIBCO Software recently inked an agreement with SMU School of Information Systems to deepen students’ data analytics knowledge and prepare them with the right digital skillsets for the digital economy. TIBCO and SMU see this collaboration as an opportunity to train up to 500 students on the Digital Business Solutioning track under the Bachelor of Science (Information Systems) degree program, and give students hands-on opportunities to use selected TIBCO tools to hone their analytics skills. SMU Dean of School of Information Systems and Professor of Information Systems Pang Hwee Hwa said, "Collaborations with industry and technology providers, such as TIBCO and integrating academic learning with real-world practice, are part of our overall efforts to nurture future-ready graduates.”
