In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, contactless technology solutions have been developed to minimise the spread of the virus in our daily activities. SMU Professor of Law Mark Findlay commented that it is possible to align AI solutions to the identified risks and risk factors to mitigate their effects on people. SMU Associate Professor of Information Systems Rajesh Krishna Balan also mentioned that the knowledge and data derived from deployed technology would be key to making policy decisions.
