Commenting on the recent OCBC phishing scams, SMU Associate Professor of Computer Science Gao Debin explained the mechanisms of the phishing scam and how these hackers can impersonate the bank to obtain unsuspecting users’ accounts, passwords and even One-Time Passwords to gain access to victims’ money.
