SMU Professor of Computer Science Pradeep Reddy attended a roundtable conference in Singapore, where Andhra Pradesh's Education, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh outlined an ambitious vision for the future of education and skill development. Speaking at the session titled “Skills to Competencies: Accelerating Workforce Transformation”, Mr Lokesh shared how Andhra Pradesh is keen to work with SMU and SUTD to integrate industry needs into academic programmes. He also expressed interest in collaborating with SMU’s CARE.AI Lab to develop AI-centric education and research programmes.
