
SMU alumnus and blockchain entrepreneur Fathurrahman Faizal, has been named in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list (Class of 2025), which recognises visionary youth in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Faizal, co-founder of Ranger Labs, a company that operates a multi-asset trading platform using Solana blockchain technology, successfully raised US$1.9 million ($2.5 million) from investors in a financing round led by venture capital firm, RockawayX, to develop new AI-based products. While still a student at SMU, he also founded SolanaFM – a blockchain tracker – which was later acquired by Jupiter Exchange, a cryptocurrency trading platform, in September 2024.
