SMU SCIS alumnus Aaron Tan, who is co-founder and chief executive officer of used car and automotive services platform Carro, won the Young Business Leader of the Year Award at the Singapore Business Awards 2025. He shared that he wants his talents to be hardworking and be able to leverage artificial intelligence for their role. His grounded, data-driven approach comes from his background as he has a degree from SMU's School of Computing and Information Systems and a master’s degree from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science.
