About the Talk Qian's study focuses on the application of digital technology and user experience in museums. She has conducted a series of projects examining how emerging technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and smart interaction systems reshape visitor engagement and perception. This study reflects this focus by comparing visitors’ experiences with traditional postcards and AR-enhanced postcards in a museum context, using an extended Quality–Satisfaction–Intention (Q-S-I) framework. Beyond exploring how technological innovation affects satisfaction, purchase intentions, and loyalty, her broader research has contributed to the development of evaluation systems for digital exhibitions and to the establishment of industry standards for digital museums. Through a combination of empirical research, theoretical exploration, and practical implementation, future studies aim to advance understanding of how technology transforms cultural experience and visitor behavior, ultimately promoting more meaningful and sustainable forms of digital engagement in museums and cultural institutions. About the Speaker Liu Qian is a professor at the School of Journalism and Communication, Jinan University; she is the director of the Center for International Communication Studies, a doctoral supervisor, visiting scholar at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, a council member of the Health Communication Committee, and a member of the Digital Committee, Guangdong Museum Association. Her primary research focuses include health communication, data analysis and visualization, new media technologies, and museum cultural studies.
