ABSTRACT
A professional credential is required to audit internal control of financial systems as legislated by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is the only globally recognized certification in audit, controls and security of information systems and is – in view of the stringent and globally identical requirements – internationally recognized. There are 5 domain areas covered by the CISA body of knowledge. As these are needed skills in demand, students need to be taught these necessary job skills.
