About the Talk
Managing user feedback for software products is becoming an increasingly challenging process with the emergence of new platforms for discussion. Emergent and ubiquitous platforms such as Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Reddit have significant influence on the discussion of issues concerning various software applications. In this presentation, I present work that I am conducting regarding the development of an automated approach for analyzing trends to help software product teams identify relevant and important software requirements. Using examples from our previous studies, I will illustrate the potential windfall practitioners can expect from analysis across all user feedback sources to help prioritize and define requirements.
