2023 Google South Asia & Southeast Asia Research Awards
Google South Asia & Southeast Asia Research Awards are focused on supporting exceptional computer science research in the region. IEEE Fellow is a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation. The total number of IEEE senior members elevated to Fellow in any one year may not exceed one-10th of 1 percent of the total IEEE voting membership on record as of 31 December of the preceding year.

ASE Fellow
from the steering committee of the IEEE/ACM International Conferences on Automated Software Engineering (ASE).
As authorized by the ASE Charter, this honor is bestowed in perpetuity on those who are deemed by the ASE Steering Committee to have rendered significant and sustained contributions to the ASE Community, through their scientific accomplishments and their service to the ASE Conferences, ASE Journal, and to the ASE research community in general.
DS Lee Foundation Fellowship
Established in 2012 by Dr Della Suantio Lee and the DS Lee Foundation, the award is given to junior faculty members to support academic and industry-relevant research, and participation in international research programmes that are crucial to improving the understanding of Asian businesses.
Jubilee Technology Fellowship
Established in April 2021 to support the School of Computing and Information Systems’ research in the areas of AI and Cognitive Computing.

IEEE TCSE Distinguished Service Award 2021
from the IEEE Technical Council on Software Engineering (TCSE) in 2021 for providing outstanding and extensive service to the software engineering community in his many roles in major software engineering conferences (such as ASE, ICPC, ICSME, and SANER) and journals (such as co-EiC Journal of Software Engineering Research and Development, AE of IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, Empirical Software Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Automated Software Engineering, Information and Software Technology, and Journal of Software: Evolution and Process). This is one of the two most prestigious service awards in the field of Software Engineering.
