MAS: Data Analysis can help enhance supervision of financial institutions and uncover more business opportunities

The Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Chief Data Officer and Head of Data Analytics Group (DAG) David Roi Hardoon shared at an event held at SMU last Friday (26 May) that the Supervisory Technology department under the DAG will look into harnessing the power of data analytics to enhance the supervision of financial institutions, so as to effectively counter money laundering and terrorism financing activities
