Dear SIS Students

SIS is pleased to introduce to you – Undergraduate Research (UResearch) Programme.

This programme is created to enable undergraduate students in the BSc (Information Systems) and BSc (Computer Science) degree programs to experience academic research in Computing as well as prepare them for graduate studies. It allows students to experience first-hand, the challenges and exhilaration of research, discovery and innovation, and enriches their academic learning by working at the frontiers of computing research.

If you do not wish to participate in this programme but are still keen to do some research studies, you are welcome to approach any of our faculty to discuss possible project topic and get his/her approval to supervise you and your research project. You will then enrol in IS470 Guided Research in Computing (and IS471 Guided Research in Computing II if you wish to continue your research project or embark on a new research project).
