Dear SCIS Undergraduates,
At SCIS, we constantly evolve our education programmes to ensure that our graduates acquire the right skills for their career. This includes launching new B.Sc. (Computer Science) and B.Sc. (Computing & Law) degrees, and updating our B.Sc. (Information Systems) degree. With industry and government increasingly leveraging digital technology to transform their business models and processes, our Information Systems major is centred on building solutions using digital technologies and enabling digital transformation in both public and private sectors. To highlight this positioning, we are renaming the B.Sc. (IS) Information Systems major to B.Sc. (IS) Digital Transformation major.
You are invited to a Virtual Town Hall Meeting, where SCIS Dean Pang Hwee Hwa and the Deanery Team will elaborate on the rationale of this title change and details of the implementation.
