During the ASEAN University Network (AUN)-Technology Enhanced Personalised Learning (TEPL) Working Meeting 2023 held at SMU on 25 May, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) as the new Co-Lead of AUN-TEPL. SMU chairs the AUN-TEPL thematic network. The event took place at the SMU Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium from 25 to 26 May. The workplan meeting, themed ‘Charting New Frontiers: Empowering Learners through Technology-Enhanced Personalised Learning’, aimed to bring together universities to exchange ideas, connect with change agents, share insights, and explore collaborative projects. SMU Professor of Information Systems (Education) and Vice Provost (Education) Venky Shankararaman officiated the event with a welcome address, followed by AUN Executive Director Dr Choltis Dhirathiti. The workplan meeting ended on 26 May with the universities committed to collaborate in improving students’ success through technology-enhanced personalised learning, where effective teaching will cater to the different abilities of different learners.
